Massive Black has released the first two parts in a four-part series, Vehicle Concepting with Kemp Remillard.

Utilizing multiple tools including Photoshop and Google Sketchup, Keith takes us through his process of designing military and science fiction vehicle concepts, from thumbnails to final illustration. Keith does a great job narrating and touches on many aspects of the creative process just as inspiration and working with clients.

Check out the preview video on YouTube, then purchase and download from dvd.massiveblack.com.

Creature Design with Rich Doble, Part 1

richdoble_design1.jpg

In part one of Creature Design, Rich’s goal is to quickly create a number of creature concepts from scratch. He accomplishes this wonderfully, focusing on the pure creative process rather than the technical. While there are 4 finished concepts shown here, his process takes us through multiple iterations of various ideas.

“Watch, learn, enjoy, and don’t take our jobs. Thanks.”

To download, follow the link from the dvd.massiveblack.com site, or go directly to the purchase & download page. Includes the final Photoshop .PSD and a 1 hour Quicktime video.
